Chic Showers!

We are delighted to share with you today some details from another CHIC event! A baby shower held on November 3, 2007 for a couple celebrating the upcoming arrival of a baby boy! So…who says baby showers have to be pastels and lace? The table linen was white lined with slate blue runners. Tall glass cylinder vases displayed large stuffed animals intermingled with curly willow branches. The centerpieces were surrounded by votive candles and dark wooden frames that presented famous baby quotes like A new baby is like the beginning of all things - wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities.” The color scheme was executed throughout the shower from the comfy rocking chair to the chair cover and cake table that exhibited large wooden letters that spelled out the baby’ s name C-A-R-S-O-N. The letters were a gift to the couple to later be used as part of the baby nursery! Also, there were custom blue & chocolate brown drapes that hung from two large windows that anchored the front door to the special occasion. Simply Chic topped it off with complimentary favors and white cardstock for each guest to write words of wisdom for the mother- to- be. However…this was a great keepsake for the couple in years to come to share with baby Carson!

Stay tuned for weekly updates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
